The Hobart FP150-1A Continuous-Feed Food Processor is designed to slice and shred fruits and vegetables with great consistency. This compact processor is used in commercial restaurants, hotels, and foodservice facilities to speed up the food preparation. It has an aluminum construction with anodized finishing for durability and easy cleaning. It comes with three (3) blades are included for food processing 5/32″ and 1/16″ slicer plate and 3/16″ shredder plate. The food processor can slice or shred up to 14 lbs. of food every minute and gives consistent results with every slice. The processor has an angled front at 50° for convenient loading of products and reducing user fatigue. It has a full-size feed hopper that accommodates variety of food products which can be removed easily for cleaning purposes and minimizes precutting. The pusher plate placed on top of feeder presses food against cutting blades and in case this pusher plate is open or swings away, its double interlock switch prevents the unit from running. The food processor can be operated easily using the green (on) and red (off) buttons mounted on the side.
The Hobart planetary food processor has a powerful 1/2 HP motor with overload protection for years of service life. The gear-driven plate runs at a speed of 420 rpm to deliver consistent and precise results without mashing or bruising any food item. The de-coring screw of this food processor deflects food away from the plate hub for complete processing of the food. The food processor has a 6 ft 3-conductor power cord and requires a 120V, 60 Hz, 4.8 amps, single-phase electrical connection.
