This one section Chef Base Refrigerator is made of stainless steel. The interior and counter-top work surface are 304 stainless and the exterior is 430 stainless. Insulation comes from 2.5 inch of polyurethane foam. Twelve gauge stainless steel casters brackets under the bottom of the cabinet reinforce it so that the counter-top and drawers can hold a combination of up to lbs. weight. An air chamber, vent system and high heat insulation tech mat enable the work top to withstand up to 500F without warping or bubbling of its sheets of metal. Corner guards on the top of the unit prevent equipment from accidentally slipping off. The refrigeration is self-contained and located in a removable side panel. The condenser slides out for cleaning and maintenance. R-134A refrigerant is used. An air defrost is electrically timed. The drawers have 2 inch of insulation. Rounded corners and recessed handles give them a modern look. They come with stainless steel frames and pan dividers and can hold six sanitary PVC full-size pans. One-piece snap-in gaskets can be easily replaced. Low friction bearing slides make opening and closing effortless. The temperature range of 33 to 41F is set and adjusted by push buttons and monitored by a microchip. You can quickly check its accuracy at the digital display. The case sits on four casters.
