With an exterior of 430 stainless steel and an interior of 304 stainless steel, Mega-Top Sandwich Prep Tables are tough enough to take the punishment. The work surface, top lid and hood are all formed of heavy duty 16 gauge stainless steel. Two and a half inches of polyurethane foam insulation help to sustain the proper temperature of the unit. Its refrigeration is back-mounted, with a sliding condenser which can be removed for cleaning and maintenance very readily. Since this table is a front-breathing piece of equipment, it can be built into a counter-top. Because protecting the environment is a high priority, R-134A refrigerant is used with the system. An air defrost function is electrically timed, so it can be operated at the time that’s best for you. The doors have recessed handles and rounded corners. A snap-in magnetic gasket can be removed for cleaning or replacement quite simply. Perimeter frame heaters avert the build-up of condensation on the doors. Four epoxy coated wire shelves, two for each section of the table, are supplied with the unit. The prep area has 1/2 inch of insulation. A 8-1/2 sanitary cutting board which is removable and adjustable comes standard with this unit. A dozen 1/6 size sanitary PVC pans are also supplied with the case. They can be lined up three rows deep on the top of the work surface and covered by the lid for freshness’ sake. The temperature range of this table is 33 to 41F, and it’s controlled by an analog thermostat.
