You can add this 4-3/8 inch stainless steel electric drop-in Halo Heat Hot Food Well Unit with a large flange anywhere there’s a self-serve counter with a sneeze guard and overhead lighting or a prep table for plating hot foods. It’s intended to fit two 12 inch x 20 inch full size pans, but the pans aren’t included. Additionally, it’s thermostatically controlled, with a setting range of 1 to 10 and a heat indicator light. The control is attached to the unit by a flexible water-tight 36 inch tether, and can be flush-mounted to a counter-top. Because water isn’t added to the well, no drain is needed. Also, steam burns are avoided, and the build up of lime and scale is staunched. EcoSmart technology gives the line its direction, so it’s practical and protective of your cooking and the environment.
