Description
The True TRCB-79-HC Refrigerated Chef Base is a multipurpose unit that can be used in the commercial kitchens to hold countertop charbroilers, grills and other types of equipment. The model features four (4) drawers and ‘V’ top edges that protect spills. The unit has a factory-engineered, self-contained, capillary tube system that uses environmentally friendly CFC-free 134A refrigerant. With guided airflow, the refrigeration system ensures uniform cooling of products. There is an extra-large evaporator coil that is balanced with high horsepower compressor and large condenser to help maintain cabinet temperatures from 35°F to 38°F. The sealed, cast iron, self-lubricating evaporator fan motor along with large fan blades are designed to add more efficiency, high volume and low velocity to the airflow. This helps increase temperature recovery rate.
The condensing unit on TRCB-79 can be easily accessed from behind the front grill and slides out for maintenance work. Its durable exterior has the front, top and sides made of stainless steel, while the interior has attractive, NSF approved, white aluminum liner. The interior floor is made of stainless steel and has coved corners to aid easy cleaning. The cabinet and drawer facings are foamed-in-place using high-density, polyurethane insulation. The environmentally-friendly insulation has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP). To ensure easy maneuverability, the 4″ dia. plate casters are provided with locks on the front set. The cabinet top is a one-piece component that is made of heavy-duty, reinforced 300 series stainless steel.
